0. Coach E: Intro [0:00]

Welcome message from Coach E

1. Lindy: Could my recent 3-month hip movement limitation (around my replaced left hip, likely psoas-related) be connected to my past hip surgery or the 2020 Hip Mobility Program? [01:33]

Suspected (by me) as psoas issue:

When exactly did you start having this issue?
---- about 3 months ago without any significant or different movement patterns to flare it up.

If you're experiencing pain, rate it on a scale from 0-10?
----5 ish...not exactly pain but big movment issues involving my replacement left hip flexor makes completing exercises difficult. I am limited in my ROM.

If you've done any Precision Movement or ROM Coach routines or programs in the past tell us which ones and the results.
---- I did your Hip Mobility Program back in 2020 to get re-hab for my hip surgery.

Lindy

2. Leonie: How do you develop and test the many targeted exercises you create for different body areas, and how long do you test them before adding them to a program? [06:40]

How do you come up with/invent/adapt so many exercises targetting the various parts of the body and how long do you test them (and with whom) before inclusion in an exercise regime?

I realise this could probably take up the whole episode but you've had great success in helping people overcome pain through exercise so I believe it's of great interest.

3. Kay: Would you create a program for osteoporosis management? [12:49]

Would you consider creating a set program specific for managing Osteoporosis?

4. William: After a right hip replacement 15 months ago, I have persistent groin/abductor pain (3–4/10). Doing Phase 1 hip rotation — which exercises should I avoid or focus on to relieve it? [18:34]

Had a right hip replacement 15 months ago. Waiting for another hip replacement on left.

Right abductor muscles, inside groin onging pain for about a year. Nagging pain 3 to 4 score, seem to get worse with more exercise though hard to tell. I'm doing your hip rotation exercises phase one. What exercises should I avoid and what should I do more of to strengthen glutes and get rid of this ongoing groin pain.

Thanks Will

5. Sian: Dear Coach E, I’ve had long-term groin/adductor pain (up to 4/10) with popping during hip circles. MRI is clear; I danced ballet for years. What exercises or recovery methods would you recommend? [24:33]

Dear Coach E,

What would you recommend for persistent (a number of years) groin / adductor pain radiating from groin down inner thigh? At times pain 4/10, at times no pain. Additionally, my adductor tendon clunks/ pops if I externally circle my hip with flexed knee. I am unsure as to the exact onset but used to do a lot of ballet at a high level if this is relevant. I have had a hip MRI which is clear.

What exercises / stretches/ASMR/ massage gun routine etc would you recommend for these issues?

Thank you
